The Algarve is the most southerly province of Portugal. It covers about 200 by 60 kms. The climate is very mild and nice & warm in summer. There is always a bit of wind, so it never gets too hot.

The Algarve is perfect to explore with the bus. You don't have to spend a lot of time behind the wheel, because you can find many things at a close distance: from surf beaches to historic towns, beautiful nature and much more. We ask you to stay in the Algarve.

Surfing

The west-coast of Portugal is known for its surfing beaches. With the boards on the camper van you can find the perfect waves that suit your surfing best.

Sagres is the most westerly town of the south coast and famous for its many surf beaches. North from Sagres starts a huge variety of beaches: beach brakes, point brakes, right- or left hand brakes. Let us know if you want to know more, Marcel is happy to tell you all about it...





The Algarve is a great spring, summer & autumn destination for surf & travel, while you're based in your house on wheels....
Summer starts early here, with plenty of warm & sunny days in February and March.



Surfing-luxury
You've got your house with you, so get the table and chairs out and prepare your after-surf dinner.
It's very relaxing to watch the waves before or after a good surf and meet other surfers who can tell you more about other beaches they have seen.

Beaches

Algarve: the whole south coast of Portugal has beautiful beaches for sunbathing and swimming and stunning rocky cliffs where you can walk from one village to the next.

The west coast starts at Sagres. This unspoiled coast is really nice discover with the Cruise bus or The Cruise bus 'DeLuxe'.
Here you can find those villages with old ladies without teeth. There are lovely small restaurants and cafes, and the weather...the Algarve has a very good climate, so the weather is basicly good most of the time.

The Cruise Car - NEW!

A classic Renault 4 from 1991 is our new Cruise Car. We have build a wooden interior and now it's a unique completely decked out camping car. With lots of wood and original details, the car makes you instantly happy when you drive it. It has all you need and is ready to go and, you just need to make a stop at the supermarket.

• 10 liter Jerry can with tap

You can pitch the tent at a campground and tour around with the Cruise car from there, or you can find a new camping spot every night. The Algarve still has many beautiful, save and quiet wild camping spots. We are happy to give you advise.

The Cruise Car is also available as a rental car, without the fitted camper interior. It then has 2 back seats + safety belts, and is suitable for 4 persons max.
It's a fun alternative to a normal rental car: this car you fit into the local enviroment. Most of Renault 4's are still owned by Portuguese who have owned it since the time these cars were prduced here.


The Cruise Bus

The interior: designed and made with fun
The practical design is proudly made by us, with lots of wood, local materials and attention for detail.

The Cruise bus:

• Comfortable double bed, made of driftwood. Clean sheets, blankets & pillows.
• Practical kitchen, cupboards made from old wooden Portuguese doors. Stove, large wooden kitchen bench finished with classic wooden mono-ski.
• 10 liter Jerry can with tap.
• Solar shower
• Classic outdoor light. No LED, but a flame for a great atmosphere.
• Storage boxes under the bed for clothes, blankets, sun umbrella, chairs, wetsuits etc.
• 2 chairs and an large table, to enjoy your meal in open air.
• Everything else you need: plates, bowls, cutlery, pots & pans, kitchen utensils & linnen, coffee & tea and lots more.
• BBQ, charcoal and starter blocks
  
• New: Radio-CD player with input for Ipod / MP3 / USB stick
  

You just need to make a trip to the supermarket to buy some fresh fish for the BBQ on your first night!

Cruise bus 'DeLuxe' with new interior

New Cruise bus 'DeLuxe' look
This high Volkswagen camper van has an original camper interior, but we recently gave it a total make-over to give this authentic, cruisy 'Cruise bus look'.
It now has a warm atmosphere, it's very practical and has some creative solutions. Everything is made with natural materials and attention for detail.

Cruise bus 'DeLuxe' is ready to Cruise:

• Soft lounge sofa made with Portuguese woven fabric; can be easily converted into double bed
  
• Clean sheets, blankets & pillows
  
• A practical kitchen with stove, tap, sink & fridge
  
• Pots, pans, colourful plates, bowls, cutlery & glasses
  
• 220V (recharges your small devices like phone & camera when plugged in on camp ground / no laptop)
  
• Coffee maker, Illy coffee to wake up in paradise, tea, sugar
  
• Lots of storage space for food, clothes & more
  
• Passenger seat can be turned around to create spacious lounge.
  
• Outdoor shower connected to kitchen tap (cold) & Solar shower (hot)

As you can see this camper van means space & luxury, it's just as easy to drive as the Cruise Bus. It's so funky, that some of our guests who have travelled with this van, don't want to go back to their own house...

We request a damage deposit of €250 when we hand the Cruise Bus ('DeLuxe' or Cruise car) over to you.

Insurance
The above prices are including a third party insurance (damage to other cars & medical costs)
However, for damage to our vans or car, you will have an own risk of €2000. You can take an additional (full) insurance with us for €10 per day to lower this own risk to €300
Insurance is valid for the Algarve (so we ask you not to go to Spain or Lisbon).

Extra's
Surf board: €10 per day. We have different sizes available.

So just pick your dates and choose if you like full insurance and surf boards. Everything else you need is included.

From Faro airport to Praia da Luz
We are based in Praia da Luz, a 95km drive from Faro airport. The Cruise bus or the Cruise Bus 'DeLuxe' are here for you, in Praia da Luz, ready to go.
How to get here:

Transfer: Sugar transfer +351 914378086 or Pete +351 918577377 (About €65 for 2 pers, 1hr)
Taxi & Train: Taxi to train station Faro (about 15 mins), train to Lagos (1h45mins Portugal Trains under´Horários e Preços´). We can pick you up at the Lagos train station, or you can take a taxi to Praia da Luz.
Taxi: From Faro to Praia da Luz costs about €80 (1hr). It's worth it if you share a taxi.
